#13 Cambodia's 2013 Election

I come from Cambodia, a little country by Vietnam. Yesterday we had an election for the president and apparently there were some records of cheating. Hun sen wins again for 28 years already. There has been many protest about cheating. For example, in the city Pnom Penh, 300 people voted and they seem to only count 4 of the votes which was for Hun sen. I myself feel that he is unsuited for presidency. I think that all the money that the United States have donated to help Cambodia, he has kept it for himself. There has many death of citizens recently and they government always make it seem like an accident. I have listened to some reports and feel that some wounds are inconsistent to how they claimed the person to have died. When protesters have gone out on the streets, they would prevent them by spraying water on them, eventually killing many innocent citizens.

#10 Casino Tips

I heard a lot about casinos, about losing and winning. When i watched an episode of The Mentalist, something clicked so i asked a couple people to check to see if that was true and most actually was.....
"Dim lights, soft music, a maze of passages that lead back to the pens, in this case, slots. There's no clocks or windows anywhere-no passage of time, low priced alcohol is poured down by an attractive young women. Oxygen is pumped into the place to make you stay awake. Constant symphony of bells and sirens to make it seem like someone is winning all the time.
But someone is always winning all the time. Our machines and our games are carefully designed to let every gambler have a taste of victory, just sugar to keep them pumping their money in machines and on the tables."

#9 "Ordinarily Stupid"

*At a funeral, an old lady stands next to you and says-*
"Why him of all people?"
"Would you rather it had been you?"
                                  or
One of your relatives says-
"You have grown!"
"Yeah, that tends to happen...."

#7 Dreams

I had a dream and this was what i saw...

#5 Santa Claus

"What Santa is supposed to do is clearly impossible. If you take into account all believers of the myth, factor in the time zones, rotation of the earth and assume Santa travels east to west, he would have to make approximately 822.6 visits per second to reach each child. So Santa parks his sleigh, unloads presents, fills stockings, eat snacks, gets back into his sleigh and is on to the next house in about one-one-thousandth of a second. Children have to be stupid to accept that.Santa is based on blackmail, be good or you don't get presents."

#4 Strange Phenomenon

Strange occurrences such as ghost,  and luck all depends if you are a believer or not and sometimes your religion too. I mean we have all seen that flash of light or that strange movement that seems to be our imagination. Seeing is believing but sometimes people classify those as hallucinations. My religion allows me to believe in them and sometimes we witnessed events in our life that we just can't forget. Of course nonbelievers will explain this phenomenon as something scientific that was caused by either a light or the way we saw it or we just want to see it so badly that something triggers in our brain to actually project it to be true, but it's just a projection they claim. Palm reading and hypnotizing also falls into this category.  If you had ever been to a fortune e teller like I have,  I found that most of the things they said will occur over a long period of time and not quickly. Of course there is always a critic that believes that it was just a coincidence. I mean I am not trying to criticize anyone's belief but I don't know,  somethings just can't be explained scientifically such as love.

#3 "Dreams"

I wonder if some dreams might be able to tell the future. I mean Abraham Lincoln dreamed that he saw his death coming before it had  happened and some others can too, I mean only the ones that recorded it before they had passed.  I mean it's not like they can record it after..... 0_0. Anyways,  many people experience deja vu, sometimes seeing the events in a dream before actually experiencing it,  including myself,  I have dreamt of things and they turned out to be real which kinda freaked me out. Especially people who sleepwalk,  it's like something in their minds is still awake even after they are asleep. Sleep is such a weird thing,  it's like your body's way of saying that you need to charge your phone but in this case,  your body.

Travyon Martin vs. George Zimmerman

A lot of people have been arguing about this case lately and there has been many protest about Zimmerman being found not guilty. To view this case fairly, you have to put any views of racism away. Many people my age has been angered over this case but what I think they don't understand is that they have to be rational. I don't know all the details of this case and no one thoroughly does except Zimmerman himself, so I cannot take any sides on this one but I can state my opinion. If you think about it rationally, if it is at night and we see a "black" person walking, I'm sure that none of us are going to be like, "I should go say hi", our first instinct is to walk away because we think that he could be dangerous. But I also think that if a kid is walking alone at night and feel that someone is following him, his first instinct is to defend himself. Again, I cannot take any sides for I do not know all the details but I think that none of us can judge, only offer our opinions. I offer my condolences to the parents of Martin but I also think that Zimmerman will never go out in public and feel the same way again, whether guilty or not. I hope that on future cases like this one, we can look at it with a clear eye and not use our history of racism to change the way we view the details.

#1 "Bones"

I've started watching the television series, Bones, and i wonder if the dead bodies are looking somewhat real? Obviously, they aren't because it is a television show for entertainment. I mean that cases can't be solved so quickly and some are never solved, hence the grieving parents, siblings, friends, and guardians. But, i mean the bodies can't get any worst than whats on there, right?
